If you do not have insurance we can bill, my Out of Pocket rates are:
$165 / 53 minute session
I offer some sliding scale options based on financial need, please see below for more information.
Superbills/ Partial Reimbursement
After each session, I can provide you with a superbill — a detailed receipt that includes the diagnostic and billing codes your insurance company needs to process a reimbursement claim. You submit it to your insurer, and they reimburse you directly according to your plan's out-of-network coverage.
Before we start working together, it's worth calling your insurance provider and asking:
Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
What is my out-of-network deductible, and has it been met?
What percentage of the session fee will be reimbursed after the deductible?
Do I need a referral or prior authorization?
-
I do not want finances to be a barrier to accessing the care we should all be able to receive.
I hold a limited number of sliding scale spots for clients who would like to work with me for a reduced fee. We determine the session fees collaboratively based on your circumstances.
If cost is a barrier for you, please mention it in our initial consultation. Sliding scale availability changes over time, so please inquire in a message so we can discuss availability and options during our initial consultation.

Under a federal law called the No Surprises Act, you have the right to know what your therapy services may cost before you begin treatment. If you don't have insurance, or if you choose not to use the insurance you have, you have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" explaining how much your mental health care will cost. This estimate will outline the anticipated cost of services, such as intake sessions and ongoing individual therapy, based on what we discuss about your treatment needs and goals. You can request this estimate before scheduling your first session, or at any point during our work together.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the charge. You can contact the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to begin this dispute resolution process, and you have 120 days (4 months) from the date of your bill to do so.
If you have any questions about your estimate or would like to request one, please don't hesitate to reach out. You deserve clarity and transparency as you make decisions about your care.
For more information about your rights under the No Surprises Act, visit cms.gov/nosurprises.
If you're interested in starting therapy with me, please reach out using this form. I always try to respond to all messages within 2 business days.
I hope to speak with you.
